Join our Recovery Innovation workshops series to kick-start your innovation journey.

Our Recovery Innovation programme will develop your innovation skills and capability to create new products, services, processes or a new business model in response to the impact of Covid and Brexit.

Delivered by our top team of University business innovation experts, this flexible series will build your knowledge and confidence to drive innovation in your business.

It will give you the tools you need to become resilient and agile, providing you with a competitive advantage in the future.

Understand the skills required to manage innovation projects

This workshop will help you to identify the skills and talents required in the various phases of developing of an innovation ‘project’.

Through interactive exercises you will gain an understanding about the strengths and weaknesses of your management team so you will be able to ensure that each player ‘pulls their weight’ when most appropriate in the innovation journey, and where you need to seek complementary skills to deliver a successful outcome.

By learning how to assess the talents and the inclinations of your business partners and team you can help to build capability in your team to deal with all aspects of an innovation ‘project’.

Workshop content

By identifying the various phases of an innovation project and the essential skills for each stage participants will learn how to;

  • Define the skills and talents required in each phase of an innovation project
  • Address the strengths and the limitations of innovation skills in the business
  • Assess innovation profiles to ‘regulate’ the level of engagement and input from your team
  • Develop strategies and practices to address any shortfall of key innovation profiles
