This session is part of our Tourism and Hospitality innovation programme in partnership with Experience West Sussex and the Institute of Hospitality, but could be attended by other RISE members.
Given the extremely challenging time this sector has experienced during the pandemic and Brexit, West Sussex County Council has prioritised funding for Small and Medium-sized enterprises to receive specific innovation support to recover and boost growth.
Attract more customers
This masterclass will help you to consider new ideas and developments to your offer to existing and new customers. It will help you to maximise your unique selling points, new ideas and collaborations.
It will explore the ideas of the ‘experience economy’ and the shift towards visitor expectations of experiences rather than just products or services alone. There will also be a focus on how wellbeing and ‘blue space’ (the coast and rivers) can be more centralised in tourism and hospitality offerings.
The idea of collaborative marketing and experience co-production will also be explored to maximise the assets of Sussex as a destination.
This session will be most useful for hotels, campsites and other accommodation providers as well as those involved in organising tours and experiences, it addition to businesses located on or near the coast.
